Working with electricity is potentially dangerous and Health and Safety is always our number one priority. On a site visit we were pleased to see our professional electricians wearing up to date and relevant PPE supplied by the company.

Eco House

Beecal Electrical have recently completed a sophisticated control system for a whole house using renewable energy. This includes wiring for heat source pump, photovoltaic panels, solar panels, intelligent lighting and rainwater harvesting.

Sandicliffe Showroom

Beecal Electrical have recently completed, in just 12 days, an electrical refit of the Sandicliffe Ford Showroom at Leicester. This included lighting for office and amenities, suspended lighting, recessed lighting and car park lighting. New data cabling and small power was fitted to the office. We also fitted a fire alarm, emergency lighting and power for the air-conditioning. The new cars look excellent in their new environment - call in and have a look.

New Head Office

We have moved to new, more spacious Offices at Joshua Business Park, 48a, Cromford Road, Langley Mill, Nottingham, NG16 4EW.
We still retain our Office at Prospect Court, Nottingham Road, Ripley as well as our Derby Office on Ashbourne Road. So, ideally placed for the A610 and M1 we are offering our services in the Nottinghamshire area as well as Derbyshire.

Beecal Electrical have recently completed a fit out of the Beauty and Hair Salon at Duston School. This included colour changing mood lighting, low energy recessed lighting, wiring to specialist nail treatment stations and energy efficient lighting to mirrors and hairdressing units.

New Contracts

An extension of the WILO development at Burton on Trent is almost complete. The picture shows ongoing work at East Midlands Housing, where Beecal are undertaking the electrical fit, in conjunction with Winfield Construction.

Grade II Listed Building

Beecal Electrical have recently rewired a Grade II Listed Church. This required sensitive removal of old lead sheathed wiring to preserve the old plaster and lime washed walls. New mineral insulated fireproof cable was fitted to meet current BS7671, along with energy efficient lighting and heating.

A Charity Ball

A Charity Ball was held at Derby Roundhouse on the 16^th October 2009 in aid of the ‘Lewis Mighty Fund’.

The MC for the evening was TV Personality and Auctioneer, Graham Penny. The guest speaker was Radio 4 and BBC Business Commentator Guy Browning.

Beecal Electrical are proud to have sponsored the specialist entrance lighting for the event. £15,000 was raised from the Charity Auction, Ticket Sales and Raffle for Lewis.

On 9^th November 2009 the Electrical Apprenticeship Awards were held at Derby College. Beecal sponsored the Best Apprentice who was presented with a trophy and a professional electrician’s toolset supplied by Beecal.
